139 mature deliberation thereupon had it seemeth to the Justices here that the presentm.t afd is not good nor Sufficient in the Law for the said George Dashiell who for his said Lordship in this behalfe prosecutes to have and maintain the action afd against the afd Thomas fletcher Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietarie take nothing by the presentm.t afd and that the afd Thomas fletcher be thereof quiet
Chambers to serve the afd Thomas Walker the full term of time afd in such Lawfull Service that such lawfull services as he should Imploy him in or about &.c Inconsideration of which Servitude the afd Thomas Walker undertakes for to Learn the afd Robert Chambers the trade of a Cooper and to read well in the Bible dureing his Servitude afd &c Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the afd Thomas Walker give good Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd &.c Thereupon the afd Thomas Walker with the afd Reverend Thomas fletcher his security present here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the afd Robert Chambers in the Sum of twenty pounds good and Lawfull mony of England upon the go their goods and Chattells Lands or tenements Joy for the use of the afd Robert Chambers his heirs or assigns Joyntly and Severally to be made & levied if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Thomas Walker do and shall during the Servitude of the afd Robert Chambers Learn him the trade of a Cooper and to read well in the bible and find and provide for his Said apprentice during his servitude meat drink washing Loging and Cloathing then the above recognizance to be void otherwise &c
hundred and twenty Eight at Somersett parish within the Jurisdction of this Court sixteen Years of soft Corne of the proper goods and Chattells of a Certain William Jones of the Same County in his Corn feild then Growing then and there being and found then and there ^she did^ feloniously take seall |
