120 Seven hundred and Twenty Eight Comes the said sher and makes Return that he hath here Ready twelve &c as by his said Preceipt he was Commanded and now hereafterwards to witt the same day and Year Comes as well the afd Catherine Diall by her attorney afd as the Said George Dashiell who for his said Lordship in this behalfe Prosecutes and the Jurors of that Jury therein Impannelled being Called Likewise Came to witt Thomas Gills, Levin Disharoone, Jno Townsend Jun.r, John White Pocomoke, Thomas Humphry's, Jno Flemon, Jno Shockley, John Broughton, Johnson Hill, James Rownd, Stephen Walton, John Roach, who being duely Elected tryed and Sworne to Say the truth in the premisses upon their Oath do say that the afd Catherine diall is not guilty of the Premisses as by the Presentm.t abovesaid is upon her Imposed Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Catherine Diall of the Premisses afd be acquitt and goe thereof without day &.c Thereupon the afd Catherine Diall is ordered to give security for the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd but for want thereof the said Cat Diall is Committed into the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County there to remain &.c the said sher being present herein Court takes Charge of the said Catherine Diall accordingly afterwards in the same Court Comes the Nicholas Ready and Richard Duskey both of Somersett County Planters and undertakes for the afd Catherine Diall to pay the Severall Officers their fees due by occasion of the Premisses afd &c
hundred and twenty Eight Came hereinto Court the afd Daniell Corbitt and prays that his appearance may be Recorded to save himselfe and Security from a Certain Recognizance of bail Entered into as abovesaid, whereupon the afd Daniel Corbitts appearance is Recorded and he and his Security accordingly discharged Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the afd Daniel Corbitt give new Security for his good behaviour toward the afd Eliz.a Clough; and not for to Entermarry with a Certain Dorothy Crouch dureing his Servitude with a Certain Thomas Bashaw &c Whereupon ^the said^ a Certain Thomas Bashaw present here in Court undertakes for the afd Danniel Corbitt and acknowledged himselfe to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland in the sum of fifty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull mony of England to be Levied upon his Goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of his Said Lordship the Lord Proprietary his heirs and successors if default be made in the Condition hereunto written The Condition of the above Recognizance is such that if the above bounden Daniel Corbitt be of the good behaviour to all his said Lordships Liege People during his Servitude to the afd Tho.s Bashaw and more Especially toward the afd Eliz.a Clough and in the mean time do not Intermarry with the afd Dorothy Crouch then the above Recognizance to be void and of none Effect otherwise &c |
