Sterling mony of England of their Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements seperately to be made and
Levied for the Use of his Said Lordships heirs and Successors if default be made in the Condition here
under written
                          The Condition of the above Recognizance is such that if the above bounden Noble Tull
his heirs and be of the good behaviour to all his Lordship's Leige People dureing the pleasure of the Court
afd then the above Recognizance to be void otherwise &c   afterwards in the Same Court the afd Noble Tull
being is at his Own prayer discharged from the Recognizance afd &c

    To the worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now in Court Sitting
the humble Petition of francis Mercer most humbly Sheweth
                                                                   That whereas ^your Petitioner^ hath two tracts or percells of Land
Lying on Pocomoke River in the County afd the one Called Glaseo Containing One hundred and thirty
three acres and the Other being Part of a tract of Land Called the Strand Containing One hundred
and twelve acres the Bounders whereof are Precarious and the Evidences to prove them Antient
and Infirm
                         Wherefore your Petitioners prays your worships to grant him a Commission
and appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences to Perpetuate the bounds of the said Land
and your Petitioner as in duty bound will pray

             The Petition afd being Read and heard and the Premisses Considered   Its therefore ordered
by the Court that a Commission Issue to the afd francis Mercer as by the Petition afd is prayd and
that John Scott, Hugh Porter, William Handy and George Tull be appointed Commissioners and
Execute the Same Commissioners according to Law   Whereupon the afd John Scott, Hugh Porter
and William Handy took all present here in Court made Oath on the holy Evangelist of almighty
^God^ to Execute the Same Commission according to Law in Such Case made and provided &c

Sambo a negro Boy of M.r Allens is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Six Years &c

Moll a negro Girle belonging to Moses Cheille is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of six years &c

Greeting Know ye that we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Commissioners
to Examine Evidences on behalfe of a Certain Thomas Roe of the County afd in relation
to the Bounds of a tract of Land Called Purgatory Lying in the County afd at the great Devills
Isleland &.c we therefore require you or any three or two of you at some time and place as to you
or any three or two of you Shall Seem Convenient you mete on ye afd Land Called Purgatory
