Whereas a Certain William White an Orphan had formerly made Choice of William
Whittington of Somersett County Gent.m as his guardian &.c  At which time the said Willm
Whittington had given security to Comply with the Law in Relation to the guardianship
of the said William White &c

                   Now hereat this day to witt the Eighteenth day of June Anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and twenty Eight Came here into Court the Securitys of the afd William Whittington
viz.t Joseph MccClester and Hugh Porter of the County afd Gentlemen and Pray
that they may be discharged from being security for the said WIlliam Whittington as afd

          And further that he may be Ordered to give new and better security to Comply with
the guardianship as afd
                                     Whereupon the said William Whittington being Present here
in Court in his proper person is Ordered by the same Court that August Court Next to be
held for the County afd at dividing Creek he then and there give good and New Security
Such as may be Likeing to the then Court to Comply with the Law &c


                   Pursuant to the act of assembly we the Subscribers being Nominated and
appointed by James Dashiell to meet at the dwelling hous of John Collins Guardian of to
Thomas Shurman Jun.r and then and there did view the said dwelling hous and plantation
with an Orchard and do Estimate the said dwelling Plantation with the appurtenances at the
Annuel Value of three hundred and Eighty two pounds of tobacco given under Our
hands and Seals this 15.th day of June 1728                           Jacob Messick   (X)

         Memorand.m that this 15th of June 1728  I the Subscriber at the Request of
John Collins met (M.r Roger Nicholson and M.r Jacob Messick who were Nominated by
me) and at the said Plantation and there did give the said Nicholson and Messick their
Corporall Oath in Relation to the same      Wittness      James Dashiell

do Confess Judgm.t unto John fleming for the Sum of Eleven Shillings and four
Pence halfe Penny which sum was Recovered by the said John fleming against
Henry fitzwaters On the Ninteenth day of June before a Single Justice of the
       peace the said Eleven shillings and four pence halfe Penny to be Levied of Your bodys
       goods or Chattells lands or tenements for the use of the said John fleming in Case the said
                                                                                                                Henry
