thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following viz.t   Cepi Corpus p Fran Allen sherr

          And the afd John Hudson in his Own Proper person Cometh and defendeth the force
and Injury when &.c and says that he Cannot gainsay the Plft his action afd so as
afd against him brought nor Can he say but that the said Plft Ought to Recover his damages
by occasion of the Premisses afd to six hundred pounds of tob.o and Costs of Suit against
him which the said Plft doth not gainsay &c

                         Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the Ninteenth day of
June ann.o Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty Eight that the afd Mathew
Purnall Recover against the afd John Hudson Jun.r Six hundred pounds of tobacco his
damages by occasion of the premisses afd in form afd Confessed as also
193                     pounds of tobacco by the for his Costs and Charges by him about
his suite here in that Part Expended by the Court here unto the Same Mathew of his assent
adjudged and the afd deft in mercy &a

Ordered by the Court that Jane Newman pay unto Robert Holland Sixty pounds of tobacco
for his attendance two Days as Evidence for his Lordship against her he have^ing^ made oath to the
Same &c                                                      March Court 1727
