Auditors to hear the said accounts of the said francis whilst he was bailife and receiver as
afd as fully and amply as any auditors in Such Cases might or ought to doe, which said Auditors
have given day untill the next Court to make their award in the premisses afd and the same day
is given to the afd Parties here also

               Att which said Next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of June ann.o Dom one thousand
seven hundred and twenty Eight Came againe as well the afd John Donelson & James Martin as the
afd francis Lane by their attorneys afds and the afd auditors on the same day between Returned
to the Court their award of the Account between the parties afd the tenor whereof followeth
in these words viz.t   Pursuant to a Commission Ishued out of Somrsett Co.ty Court dated
the 22.sd day of March 1727:  Directed to us Tho.s Blair, Nathaniel Barber and Isaac
Morris to be Auditors Between Jn.o Donelson & James Martin Plantifs and Francis
Land Defend.t haveing Duely and Impartialy Examined all Books Papers & acc.ts produced
to us by the said Parties as also the Parties themselves doe find Due from the
said Francis Lane D.r to Jno Donelson and James Martin P.ts the Sum of Sixty five
Pounds two Shill.s Maryland Currency as Wittness our hands & Seals this 28.th day of
March 1728                                                                                 Thomas Blair

                                                                                                    Isaac Morris

    Which being Read and heard &.c   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the
Eighteenth day of June anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Eight that the
afd John Donelson and James Martin Recover against the afd francis Lane sixty five pounds
Maryland Currentcy their damages afd by the arbitrators afd found as appears by the above award
389   as also three hundred and Eighty Nine                       pounds of tobacco for their Costs
and Charges by them about their Suite in that Part Laid out and Expended to the same Jn.o
Donelson and James Martin by the Court here of their assent adjudged and ye afd deft in mercy
&c

                      John White late of Sommersett County Planter was
attached to answer unto John Dennis Jun.r of a plea of trespass upon the
Case &.c
                                                               And whereupon the same John Dennis by Levin Gale his
attorney Complains that Whereas the afd John Dennis the tenth day of November anno Dom one
thousand Seven hundred and twenty Seven at Somersett County within the Jurisdiction of this Court
was possessed at Six hundred foot of Cyprus Plank of the value of five pounds Curr.t Mony as
his proper plank and so thereof being Indebted Possessed ye said Jno Dennis the Same plank
afterwards viz.t the Same day and year afd at Somersett County afd within the Jurisdiction
of this Court out of his hands and possession Causually Lost and was wanting which said
