                          Then Came Betty Gale before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
Justices of the peace for Somersett County and proved the above Acc.o in due form to be
Just and true and that she Never Received any part or percell thereof but what she
hath given Creditt for to the Best of her Knowledge before      John Jones
and ye said Thomas and Adam Exrs as afd by Geo Dashiell their attorney Come and defend ye force and Injury when &c and ^I pray^ leave to Imparle hereunto
untill the Next Court and they have it and the same day is Given unto the afd Betty here also &c

        Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of August Ann.o Dom One thousand
seven hundred and twenty Eight Came againe as well the afd Betty Gale as the afd Tho.s
Humphrys and Adam Hitch by their attorneys afd and the afd Thomas Humphry's and Adam
Heatch by their said attorney say that they Cannot gainsay the action afd nor Can they say
but that the said George Hutchins in his Life time did assume upon himselfe in Manner and
form as the afd Betty Gale above against them have declared nor Can they say but that the
said George did Owe unto the afd Betty the afd two pounds Nine Shillings Curr.t mony and
the same declaration in all the words before Expressly Confesseth &c

                 Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the Same day and Year Last mentioned
that the afd Betty Gale Recover against the afd Thomas Humphry's and Adam Hitch Exrs
202   as afd two pounds Eight Nine Shillings Curr.t mony her damages afd above in the declaration
202   afd Expressed as also two hundred and thirty Eight                            pounds of tobacco for her
208   Costs and Charges by her about her suite in that Part Expended by the Court here of her assent
adjudged of the goods and Chattells which were of the afd George Hutchins at the time of his death
in the hands of the afd Thomas Humphry's and Adam Heatch Remaining to be administred if so
much in their hands they have and if so much in their hands they have not than the Costs afd to
be Levied of the proper goods and Chattells of the afd Thomas and Adam and the afd Defts in
mercy &a
