return thereof to the Court here Endorsed viz.t  Cepi Corpus P Francis Allen sher

                         Whereupon the said John Hendry being Called appears and thereupon the said John Hendry at the
Prayer of the Plantifs attorney is adjudged to give Speciall bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain Samuel
Derickson of the County afd Planter present here in Court undertakes for the said John Hendry that if in Case ye
said Charles Markland shall Recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against the afd John Hendry or that the afd Jno Hendry
shall be therein Convict that then he the Said John Hendry shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon
or render his body to the Custody of the sher of Somersett County in satisfaction thereof or that he the said Sam.l
Derickson will do the same for him; thereupon the Said John Hendry in his own proper person appears and

     This being an action of trespass upon the Case &c wherein the Sherr of Somersett
County to whom the writt in the same action was directed Comes and makes return thereof
                      to the Court here Endorsed viz.t   Cepi Corpus P francis Allen sher

             Whereupon the afd John Lamberson being Called appears and thereupon the said Jno Lamberson at
the prayer of plfts attorney afd is adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain
Edward Cluffe of Somersett County Blacksmith present herein Court undertakes for the Said Jn.o Lamberson
that if in Case the afd James Breman Shall recover Judgmt in the plea afd against the afd John
Lamberson or that the afd Jn.o Lamberson Shall be therein Convict that then he the Said Jn.o Lamberson
shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his Body to the Custody of the
Sherr of Somersett County in satisfaction thereof or that he the said Edward Cluffe will do the same
for him.  Thereupon the said John Lamberson by George Dashiell his attorney appears and
Imparles till next Court &c

                        Rowland Bevans Late of Somersett County Planter was attached
to answer unto Benj.a Houston of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c
And whereupon ye same Benj.a Houston by Levin Gale his attorney Complaines
    that whereas the afd Rowland the tenth day of August Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred & twenty
    Seven at Somersett County within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted to the Same Benj.a in the sum
    of sixteen hundred and Ninety Six pounds of tobacco and Sixteen hundred & Sixty One pence for the
    Like Sum to the Said Rowland of a Certain Peter Swell before that time for the use of the Same Benj.a
    paid and Satisfyed and so thereof being Indebted the said rowland in Consideration thereof afterwards
    to witt the Same Day & Year afd at the county afd and within the afd Jurisdiction upon himselfe assumed
    and to the Same Benjamin then and there faithfully promised that he when afterwards he Should
    be thereto requested he the afd Sum of Sixteen hundred & Ninty Six pounds of tob.o & sixteen hundred
    and Sixty One pence to the Same Benj.a would well and faithfully Content and Pay Nevertheless
    the Said Rowland his Promise and assumption afd in form afd made not regarding But plo
    Plotting and fraudulently Intending him the Same Benjamin in that Part Craftilly
