told him not to fell it and further Saith not the Same day W.m Simpson aged forty years or thereabouts did
Declear that about thirteen years agoe John Stockley told him that a Certain white oake Marked with
two Notches on the four sides Standing on y.e East Side of a Cove near to a peice of Ground where Jones Records
had Latly Clerd y.t itt was y.e Devession between him him & his brother Woodman Stockley & further Saith not

Levin Gale of Somersett County Gent Produced a Commission as Clerk of the Indictments for Somersett County
from Michael Howard Esq.r Cl attorney Generall of the province of Maryland is approved of he takeing the ^severall^
Oaths appointed by act of assembly to the Government &c  Thereupon the Said Levin Gale took the Severall
Oaths appointed by act of assembly and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test and Likewise took
an Oath appointed by a Statute of W.m and Mary &c and the oath appointed by act of assembly for attorneys
&c

Joseph Pemberton of Somersett County Gent prays that he may be admitted one of the attorneys of this
Court is granted he takeing the Severall Oaths appointed by act of assembly and Subscribing the Oath
of abjuration and test &c  thereupon the Said Joseph Pemberton took the Severall Oaths appointed
by act of assembly to the government and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test and Likewise
took y.e Oath of an attorney &c

George Dashiell and Ebenezer Cook attorneys of this Court tooke the Severall Oaths to the
Goverment and Likewise the Oath appointed by the Late of Act of assembly (for attorneys) to be
taken &c and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &c

     Pet.n to Chose Guardian


                To the Worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now Sitting the humble
Pet.n of George Beats Collier Sheweth that your Petitioner is between
                      the age of Sixteen and twenty One years and hath a Small Estate in the Said County
therefore prays I may be admitted to make Choice of a Guardian and as in duty Bound Shall pray

             Whereupon the petition af being Read and heard and the premisses Considered the Said George
Beats Collier is admitted to Chose his guardian as by the petition afd is prayed   thereupon the Said
George Beatts Collier makes Choice of a Certain George Dashiel of Said County decd Gent.m as his guardian
and whereas a Certain Jno Jones and Nehemiah Nicholson of the County afd Gent was Possessed
with the Estate of the Said George Beatts Collier   Its thereupon Ordered by the Court that the Said
Jno Jones and Nehemiah Nicholson deliver upon unto the afd George Dashiell all the Estate that they
have in their hands Belonging ^to^ the Said George Beatts Collier  Lett it be of what Kind soever
and Likewise it is further Ordered that the Said George Dashiell give Security unto the Said
George Beatts Collier to Comply with the Laws in Such Case made and Provided &c

                Thereupon the Said George Dashiell and Levin Gale his Security present here in
Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the Said George Beats
Collier his heirs and assigns in fifty pounds Sterrling Each to be Levied on their Bodys goods or
Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of the Said George Beats Collier his heirs and assignes
