Att which said next Court to witt the sixteenth day of August Ann.o Dom one thousand
seven hundred and twenty six Came again as well the afd Levin Gale his Lordships
attorney who as well &.c as the afd Mary Ach in Custody as afd and because the Justices
^here^ hereof their Judgm.t of and upon the premisses and verdict afd to render as yett
will advise day thereof is given as well to his said Lordship's attorney afd who as
well &.c as the afd Mary Ach in Custody as afd to hear thereof their ^Judgmt^ untill next Court

       Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of November Anno Dom One thousand
seven hundred and twenty six Came againe as well the afd Levin Gale his
Lordships attorney who as well &.c as the afd Mary Ach in Custody afd and whereupon
all and singular the premisses by the Court here being Seen and mature deliberation
had   Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Mary Ach
be whipt with thirty twenty Lashes at the publick whiping Post on the Bare Back well
Laid on untill the blood appear and that She Stand in the pillowry a quarter of an
hour and that She be taken &c   And thereupon as toe the Corporall Punishment afd
Command is given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he do thereof Immediate Execution
according to the Judgm.t afd rendered by whiping the afd Mary Ach with twenty Lashes
on the Bare Back well Laid on untill the blood appear and by sitting her in the
pillowry a quarter of an hour;   Afterwards in the Same Court the said Sherr return's
that he hath done the Execution of the Judgmt afd as to the Corporall punishment afd
he was Commanded   whereupon the afd Mary Ach is ordered ^by the Court^ to give Security for the paym.t
of the Severall Officers their fees ^due^ by occasion of the premisses afd bur for want
thereof she is Committed into the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County there to remain &c
the said Sherr present here in Court took Charge of the said Mary Ach according &c

                  The Jurors for the right honrble the Lord proprietary of this
province of that now is for the body of Somersett County upon their Oath
       do present that Ann Barton late of Somersett County Spinster the tenth day of march anno
       Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty five with force and Arms &c at the County
       afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court fifteen yards of Linnen of the value of fifteen
       pounds of tobacco Each Yard of the goods and Chattells of a Certain Thomas Fletcher then &
       there being found then and there feloniously did take Steall and Carry away against the
                                                                                                                               peace
