                              Att a Court of the Right honrble Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces
       of maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore held at dividing Creek in Somersett County by his
       Lordships Commissioners and Justices of the peace the third tuesday of June being the twenty
       first day of the Same month and in the Eleventh Year of his Said Lordships dominion &c anno Dom

                Proclamation being made in Usual form and the Sherr of Somersett County being
                Called to make return of the Pannel of the Orphan Jury Returns the Same which Jury
       is as followeth viz.t                   Edward Rownd, John Robinson, Will.m Jones, Thomas Ralph
       James Russell, W.m Harris, W.m Bowler, Jno Reed tipqiun, Cannon Winwright, W.m Right Walter
       Darby, Lazarus Maddox, Samuel Dorman, Jn.o Scarbrough, Hutton Hill, W.m Davis, Tho.s
       Bashawter John Reed Forrest, Jeremiah Wright, Edward Beachamp, Abraham Smith
       who being Severally Called appeared and were Sworn and Charged and Sent Out to Consider
       who Soon after Returned into Court and were discharged &c

             Whereas a Certain John Hye had Runaway and absented himself out of the service of
       One Henry Gibbin of Charles County in the Province of maryland Seventy two days and was
       taken up in Somersett County and the Said Gibbin Master of the Said Jn.o Hye sold him to
       Jn.o Brown of Somersett County Gent and Since that the Said John Hye had absented himselfe
       Out of the Service of his Said Master &c   Whereupon Came into Court the afd John Brown
       master of the afd Jno Hye and prays that the Said Hye may be adjudged to Serve according
       to Law in Such Case made and provided as well for the Seventy two days runaway time ^as^ afd as
       for thirteen hundred and Seventy pounds of tobacco which he had payd on acc.t of the Said Jn.o
       Hye for Imprisonment Fees and Charge in takeing up as well ^when^ Runaway from Out of his former
       masters Service as the Service of himselfe &c

                            Thereupon the Said John Hye is adjudged by the Court to Serve the Said
       John Brown his heirs or assignes for the runaway time afd the full term of time of One whole Year
       and Likewise the said John Hye is adjudged to serve his Said Master his heirs or assignes for the
       tobo afd said Paid for Imprisonment fees and takeing up of the Said John Hye one whole year ^and a halfe^
                   the Said two years ^and halfe^ Service ^afd^ of the Said Hye being adjudged full Satisfaction for the runaway
       time afd as well from Out of the Service of the Said Gibbin as Out of the Said Sum of tobo paid
       by ye said Jno Browne, ye said ^term of time^ Servitude to Commence at the Expiration of the Said Jno Hye's
       servitude already Contracted &c
