105 Capell King by his attorney afd Prays that forasmuch as he has Complyed with the Law in Order to an attachm.t he may have Judgm.t against the Said John Robison and George Thompson for his damages afd by way of attachmt according to act of assembly &c Whereupon for that it Seems to the Court here that the Said Capell King hath Complyed with the Law as alledged Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Capell King Recover against the afd John Robison and ^George Thompson^ as well the Sum of twenty pounds Sterr his damages by Occasion of the premisses afd as all Costs and Charges by the Said Plft Laid Out and Expended Absent his suite by way of attachmt against the goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of the Said Jn.o Robison and George Thompson according to act of assembly in such made and provided &c
Leavin Denwood Lately in our County Court hereto witt the fifteenth day of June ann Dom one thousand seven hundred & twenty five before Samuel Hopkins Gent & his associates then our Justices of our County Court of Somersett at Dividing Creek & by Consideration of the Same Court Recovered against Robert Hudson late of Somersett County planter al.s Dict Rob.t Hudson of this County of Somersett in the Province of Maryland as well a Certain debt of one hundred & Sixty pounds Curr.t mony of Maryland as also the sum of three hundred and thirty nine pounds of tob.o which to the same Levin in our Court were adjudged for his Costs and damages which he had by occation ^of^ the detention of the Debt afd whereof he is Convict as by the record and Process thereof in our Court before our Justices at Dividing Creek now remaining manifestly appeareth Nevertheless Execution of the Judgm.t afd as yett remaineth to be done & the afd Levin Denwood is Since dead as by the Intenuation of Betty Gale & Levin Gale Ex.rx of the testament of the afd Levin Denwood we have received & because we are willing that those things which in our ^Said^ County Court are Rightly done should Come to due Execution we Command you that by good & Lawfull men of your Bailywick you make Known unto the said Rob.t Hudson that he be & appear before our Justices of our Court Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of March Next to Shew Cause if any for himselfe he hath or Knoweth to say wherefore the afd Betty Gale Exrsecution as afd their Execution against the said Rob.t Hudson of the debt and Damages afd ought not to have (according) |
