accrued upon the Judgm.t afd specified as also for all Costs and Charges accruing in this Court by Obtaining Attachmt
on the Judgm.t afd &c
                                                                            In the records of Proceedings Dorchester County Court among other
things is Contained as followeth viz.t   Att a Court of the right honourable the Lord Proprietarie held for Dorchester County
at the town of Cambridge the second tuesday and Eleventh day of June ann Dom One thousand seven hundred twenty
and three before his Lordships Justices of the Peace and Officers duely Commissioned and Authorized to hold the same of whom
were present            The worshipfull Coll Jacob Loockerman, Maj.r Henry Ennalls, Capt John Rider, Capt John Keene, M.r
Charles Nutter, Cap.t Henry Trippe M.r Peter Taylor, M.r Thomas Taylor, Gent Justices

memorandum the plft sued Out his Lordships writt of attachment against the deft the tenor
of which of ritt followeth in these words viz.t Dorchester County ss.t Charles absolute Lord and
Proprietarie of the Provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c to the sherr
of Dorchester County Greeting wee Command you that you attach any the goods Chattles rights or Creditts of William Kenney
if they shall be found in your Bailiwick to the value of Eight thousand pounds of tobacco and when you have the same
attached or any part thereof the same in your Custody safe Keep so that you have the tenor before the Justices of Our County
Court to be held at the town of Cambridge the second tuesday of June next then and there to be Condemned according to act
of assembly to and for the use of a Certain Thomas Howell in a plea of trespass upon the Case according to Law and that by good
and Lawfull men of your Bailiwick you make Known unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the same
attachment that he she or they be and appear before the Justices of our said Court to be held as afd to shew Cause if any
he she or they have why the same goods Chattles rights or Creditts so attached in his her or their hands ought not to be
Condemned and Execution thereof had made according to the form of the act of assembly in that Case made and provided
if to him her or them it shall seem meett and how you shall Execute this writt that you make Known unto Our said
Justices at the day and place afd and have you then and there this Writt Wittness Jacob Loockerman Esqr Chief Justice
of Our Said Court the Sixteenth day of march in the Eighth year of our Dominion &c annoqr Dom 1723

       Att which said second tuesday of June to witt the Eleventh day of the same Month ann Dom One thousand seven
hundred and twenty three being the day of the return of the said Writt Cometh the Thomas Howell by Francis Allen his
attorney and the sherr of Dorchester County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return
thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following viz.t  To the worshipfull Justices within Mentioned I humbley
Certifie that by vertue of the Within Writt to me directed I have attached in the hands of William Ennalls five sheep of
the value of five hundred pounds of tobacco in the hands Charles Smith Nine hundred pounds of tobacco in the hands of
John Adams ten shillings and ten Bushells of Indian Corn of the value of three hundred & twenty pounds of tobacco in
the hands of Thomas Thomas five hundred pounds of tobacco in the hands of Sarah Hicks five hundred pounds of
tobacco and in the hands of Thomas Howell one pound Eleven shillings of the value of three hundred and seventy
two pounds of tobacco and further that I have made Known unto the severall persons in whose hands I have made the
same attachments that they be and appear at the time and place within Contained to shew Cause &c before John Eccleston
and John Doe good and Lawfull men of my Bailiwick as by the within writt I am Commanded so answereth
