good and Lawfull money of great Brittain of his goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements to be Levied for the use of the
said Lord Proprietary his heirs and successors if default be made in the Condition below Written
                   The Condition of this recognizance is such that if the said Thomas Holbrook shall personally appear at the next Court
of the County afd to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of this Instant august and then and there give such Evidence as
he shall Know against Mary Cavanough Sarah Walker Sen Sarah Walker Jun Mary Walker and Susannah
Walker of and Concerning their feloniously stealling Certain Cloaths the goods of Merrick Ellis and John Bannister and
do not depart thence without the Leave of the Court that then this recognizance to be void         Char: Ballard:  W.m Stoughton
Somersett ss.t  Memorandum that the thirteenth day of august One thousand seven hundred and twenty three  Thomas Holbrook Came
before us Charles Ballard and William Stoughton Gent two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace in the County afd to Keep
assigned and acknowledged himselfe to be Indebted to the said Lord proprietarie his heirs and Successors fifty pounds
sterling of his goods and Chattles Lands and tenements to be Levied for the Use of his said Lordship if default be made in
the Condition below Written      the Condition of his recognizance is such that if Sarah Holbrook of the County afd shall
personally appear at the next Court of the County afd to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of this Instant august
and then and there give such Evidence as she shall Know against Mary Cavanough Sarah Walker Sen:  Sarah Walker
Jun: Susannah Walker and Mary Walker of and Concerning their feloniously Stealling Certain Cloaths the goods of
Merrick Ellis and John Banister and do not depart thence without Leave of the Court that then this recognizance to be void

       Now here at this day to witt twentieth day of august ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three appears here in Court
the above said Thomas Holbrook and Sarah Holbrook and prays that their appearance may be recorded to save themselves
from the above recognizance of Bail Entered into for their appearance at this Court thereupon the said Thomas Holbrook and
Sarah Holbrook their appearance is entered; as afd is praid and they accordingly discharged therefrom
                Wherupon the said Thomas Holbrook and Sarah Holbrook his wife are Ordered by the Court to give New
Recognizance for their appearance at next Court to give Evidence on behalf of the said Lord Proprietarie against
Mary Cavanough, Sarah Walker Sen.r Sarah Walker Jun.r and Susannah Walker and Mary Walker &c 
                 Thereupon The said Thomas Holbrook Present here in Court and undertakes for himselfe and Sarah his wife
and acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietarie his heirs
and successors in the sume of forty pounds Currant money to be Levied on his Body goods or Chattles Lands or tenements
in Case for the use of his said Lordship the right honourable the Lord Proprietarie In Case the said Thomas Holbrook
and Sarah Hoolbrook do not make their personall appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at
dividing Creek in Sommersett County afd the third tuesday of November next and then and there give such Evidence
as they shall Know against Mary Cavanough, Sarah Walker Sen.r Sarah Walker Jun.r Susannah Walker and Mary
Walker on Behalfe of the Lord Proprietarie of and Concerning their Feloniously Stealling Certain Cloaths from Merrick
Ellis and John Banister and do not depart the same Court Without Lycence thereof then the above recognizance to
be void &c

    be Levied for the use of the said Lord Proprietarie his heirs and successors if default be made in the Condition
