And the said Daniel Sharradon by George Dashiell his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c and
prays Leave to Imparle here unto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is Given to the plft also
    Att which said next Court Com to witt the Eighteenth day of June Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty
three Comes again as well the said Robert Martin by his attorney afd as the said Daniel Sharradon by his attorney
afd and the said Robert Martin by his said attorney prays that the said Daniell Sharradon to his declaration
in the Plea afd may answer.  But the same attorney of the said Daniel Saith that he is not Informed by the
same Daniell his Clyant of any answer for the same deft to the afd Plft in the Plea afd to be given and Nothing
Else thereof says by that the same Plft remains against the afd deft thereof undefended &c
            for which the afd Plft his damages by occasion of the Premisses afd against the said Daniell Sharradon
ought to recover           Whereupon at the prayer of the same plft the Justices here according to act of assembly in
such Case made and provided do assess the damages of the same Plft by occasion of the Premisses afd besides his
Costs and Charges by him about his Suite in this Part sustained to four hundred and sixty pounds of tobacco

                                 Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the same day and year Last mentioned that the
said Robert Martin Recover against the said Daniel Sharradon as well the sum of Four hundred and sixty
pounds of tobacco Certain Damages afd in form afd assessed as also the sume of Two hundred & Eighty Four
(284)                                 pounds of tobacco by the Court here adjudged unto him for his Costs and Charges
by him about his suite in this behalfe Laid Out and Expended and the deft in Mercy &c

Labourer was attached to answer unto Elishaw Stringfellow of a plea wherefore with force
and armes &c in and upon the said Elishaw at Manokin in the said County of Somersett
as assault he did make and him did beat would and Evill Entreat so that of his Life it was greatly despaired and
Other harms to him did to the great damage of him the Said Elishaw and against the peace of the right honourable the
Lord propry &c       And whereupon the said Elishaw by Francis Allen his attorney Complaines that the said
Robert the fourth say of July ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty two at Manokin in the said
County of Sommersett within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon the said Elishaw in the peace of God and
of his Lordship then and there being an assault he did make and him did bear wound and Evill Entreat so
that of his Life it was Greatly dispaired and other harmes to the said Elishaw then and there did to the great
