       Jurisdiction afd he was thereunto requested but the same to him to pay or in anywise to Content hath refused and
       still doth refuse and deney whereupon the said Robert saith he is worse and hath damage to the value of three
       thousand three hundred and twelve pounds of tobacco and thereupon he brings suite &c

       And the said George Hutchins by George Dashiel his attorney Comes and defends the fore and Injury when &c and
prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the plft also
                Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of June Ann Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty
three Comes againe as well the said Robert Martin by his attorney afd as the said George Hutchins to his declaration In the plea
afd may answer but the same attorney of the afd George Hutchins says that he is not Informed by the same
George his Clyant of any answer for the same deft to the afd Plft in the Plea afd to be given and Nothing Else thereof
says by that the same plft remains against the afd defend.t thereof undefended
       of that the afd Plft his damages by occasion of the premises afd against the afd defendt ought to recover
Whereupon at the Prayer of the afd Plft the Justices here according to act of assembly in that Case made and provided
do assess the damages of the same Plft by occasion of the premisses afd besides his Costs and Charges by him abo^u^t his suite
in this part sustained to one thousand six hundred and fifty six pounds of tob.o
                   Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the same day and year Last mentioned that the said Robert
Martin Recover against the said George Hutchins as well the sum of one thousand six hundred and fifty six pounds
(242)   of tobo Certain damages afd in form afd assessed as also the Sume of Two hundred and forty two
pounds of tobacco by the Court here adjudged unto him for his Costs and Charges by him about his suite in this behalfe
Laid Out and Expended and the defendent in Mercy &c

 Sommersett County ss:  Charles Young of Stepney Parish in Sommersett County Planter was
attached to answer unto Robert Martin of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c
And whereupon the said Robert by Francis Allen his attorney Complaines that whereas
                      the said Charles the thirtieth day of November ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty
       two at the parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the said Robert in one
