prays that upon giveing Security according to Law that the said sum of five pounds and Nine pence as
of the rights and Creditts of the said William Martindale Part of the sum attached and Confesed may be
Condemned in the hands of the said Richard Hudson Garnishe as afd towards satisfying of the said
Charles ratchliffs damages and Costs afd &c                                                     Thereupon a Certain William
Waltom of Sommersett County Planter present here in Court undertakes for the said Charles Ratcliff Executor as
afd according to act of assembly that if in Case the said William Martindale do at any time within a year and a day
appear and make all or any part of the said ^Charles Racliffe afd^ William Martindale Claims against him to be satisfied or otherwise
to have been undue before the Laying of this attachm.t that then the said Charles Ratcliff Ex.r as afd
shall make Restitution unto him the said William Martindale of all or such part thereof as shall be
made appear to be undue &c or that he the Said William Waltom will do it for him &c

                                 Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the Eighteenth day of June
in the Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three that the said sum of five pounds and
Nine pence part of the sum so attached and Confesed be Condemned in the hands of the said Richard
Hudson as of the rights and Creditts of the said William Martindale Towards satisfying of the said
Charles ratcliffe Ex.r as afd as well his damages ^and Costs^ afd have his Execution thereof against the said
Richard Hudson according to act of assembly                                       memoran the garnishe Richd Hudson
voluntarily takes his Oath that he hath no more of the Effects of the said defts in his hands then
what he has Confessed &c

parish in the afd County and Mary his wife Ex.rx of the Last will
and testament of John Griffin late of the Parish and County afd Planter
were attached to answer unto Edmond Hough of a plea of trespass
       upon the Case &c    And whereupon the said Edmond by William Tazewell his attorney Complains
that whereas the afd John in his life time viz.t the twentieth day of December Ann Dom One thouseventeen hundred
and ninteen at alhollows Parish in ye County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the afd
Edmond in the quantity of four hundred and fifty two pounds of tobacco for divers goods wares and Merchantdizes
by him ye said Edmond to the afd John in his life time at the Speciall Instance request of the
said John before that time there sold and delivered as by an acco.t thereof hereinto Court Brought may
appear and being so thereof Indebted ^he^ the same John in his Life time in Consideration thereof upon
himself assumed and to the same Edmond then and there faithfully Promised that he the afd John
the afd four hundred and fifty two pounds of tobacco unto the said Edmond when he should be afterwards
thereunto required would well and truely Content and pay Nevertheless the afd John in
