31 the names of the said Pledgs be sought for &.c and that the said John Harper and Richard Harper goe thereof without day Likewise it is Considered by the Justices here that the said John Harper and Richard Harper recover against the said William Robison the sum of Two hundred and sixty two (262) pounds of tobacco by the Court here adjudged into him for their Costs and Charges by them about their defence in this Behalfe Laid Out and Expended according to the form of the statute and that thereof they have their Execution
Andrew the twenty fifth day of march one thousand seven hundred and twenty one at Sommersett County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the said William in his Lifetime in thirteen pound Eighteen Shillings and five Pence Lawfull mony of america as by an accot hereunto annexed may in Court appear and being so thereof Indebted the said Andrew in Consideration thereof afterwards to with the afd twenty fifth day of march in the year afd at the place afd upon himselfe did assume and to the said William in his Life time then and there did faithfully Promise that he the said Andrew the said thirteen pounds Eight shillings and five pence to the said William When he should be afterwards thereunto requested he would well and faithfully Pay and Content Nevertheless the said Andrew his Promise and assumption aforesaid in form afd made Little regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending the said William in his Lifetime and the said Mary after the death of the said William in that part Craftilly and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said thirteen pounds Eight Shillings and five pence or any part thereof unto the afd William in his Life time or to the afd Mary after the death of the Said William or to Either of them hath not paid or Contented altho' the Same to do ye Andrew by the Said William in his lifetime afterwards to witt on the afsd Twenty fifth day of March in the year afs.d and by the Said Mary on the first Day of May One thousand seven hundred and Twenty Two and often afterwards at Somrsett County afs.d within the afs.d Jur he was requested thereunto but the same to the said William in his lifetime or to the afs.d Mary after the Death of the Said William to pay hath hitherto refused and the Same to the said Mary to pay still doth refuse and Deny. Whereupon She Saith She is worse and hath Damage to the value of Twenty five pounds money afs.d And thereupon She brings Suit &.c And brings into Court here the Letters of Adm.rs by w.ch &.c Allen p Q.re Pledgs do P John Doe R: Roe
