(2) by any foreigner or Inhabitant your Worships Petitioner will amend ye same by ditching and Conswaying and Clearing the same and your Petitioner as in duty Bound shall Pray Thomas Collins Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that Mr John Smith do Inspect ye said Road whether it be sufficient for travelers and others and to make his report thereof at next Court &.c Att Which Said next Court to witt the Nineteenth day of march Ann Dom 1722 Comes the said John Smith who was appointed to Inspect ye road afd and makes report thereof as follows vizt In Submission to ye above orders I have Inspected the Said Road and do find that the same is good and Sufficient for travellers and all other Persons that may be Concerned as wittness my hand John Smith Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here that ye road afd Inspected by the afd John Smith according to ye report afd made be and Continue the high road according to Pet.n afd Praid &c
into your wise Consideration and Order ye said Road to Comply with your Petitioners Indenture or he Cannot Subsist which being duely Considered your Petitioner as in duty Bound shall Ever pray Sam.ll Hitch On the Back of the foregoing Pet.n it was thus Endorst viz.t Samuel Hitches Petition granted and Ordered that he stay with his father Adam Hitch till June Court and if William Read shall then appear and give good security for ye Complyance with his Indenture or other way he will be discharged from his service Signed P Order Alex.d Hall Clk
