And the said Henry Alexander in his Own Proper Person Comes and Defends the force and Injury
when & and says that he Cannot Gain say the Plft his Action afd againest him Brought Nor
Can he say But that ye writing Obligatory afd in his Act and Deed and That ye Debt therein
Mentioned is yett due and unsatisfied Wherefore the said Plft prays Judgm.t for his Debt afd
and his Costs and Damages sustained by Occation of the Detaining ^of^ the Same Debt to him to be Adjudged
&                           Therefore it is Considered By the Court here the seventeenth day of November
Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and Twenty four That the sd William Fisher Recover
againest the afd Henry Alexander as well the sum of fifteen pounds four Shillings Currtt
(242) mony of America his Debt afd as also the sum of
Pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Damages which he sustained by occation of the Detention
of the same Debt By him about his suite In that part Expended by the Court here by his Assent
Adjudged and the Deft In Mercey &

        Ordered by the Court that Catherine M.ccDonnold pay unto Catherine Layfeild the Sum of
    Ninty pounds of tob.o being due unto her for her attendance three days as an Evidence for the
Right honrble Charles absolute Lord & proprietary of the province of Maryland against the said
Catherine MccDonnold she the said Catherine Layfeild haveing made Oath to the same &c

Ordered by the Court that Mary Pope widdow pay unto Temperance Lane and John Pope
the sume of One hundred & fifty pounds of tob.o Each being due unto Each of them for their
attendance Each as Evidence five days for the said Mary Pope ag.t William Pepper they
haveing made Oath to the same &c

Ordered by the Court that John Williamson pay unto John Newbold the sum of three
hundred and sixty pounds of Tobacco Being due unto him for his attendance Twelve days
as Evidence on behalf of the said John Williamson againest William Mathews he haveing
made Oath to the Same &

Ordered by the Court That William Mathews pay unto John Newbold the Sum of
Two hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco Being due unto him for his attendance Eighth
days ^as Evidence^ On behalf of the said William Mathews al.s ^of^ John Williamson he haveing made
Oath to the same &

Ordered by the Court that William Mathews pay unto Thomas Evans & Nathaniel Evans
the sum of one hundred and Eighty pounds of tobacco Each Being due unto them for their
attendance 6 Days Each as Evidence for the said William Mathews againest John
Williamson they haveing Made Oath to the Same &
