1724 214 Ordered by the Court that Richard Tiler pay unto Jacob Messick the sum of one hundred & twenty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance four Days as Evid.e for the Lord proprietary against the Said Richard Tiler he having made oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that John Bannister pay unto Merrick Ellis the Sum of One hundred & fifty pounds of tobacco being due unto things ^for his att.a^ as Evid.e five days on behalfe of the said John Bannister ag.t Alexd Carlyle he haveing made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that John Banister Pay unto Alice Ellis, Jn.o Banister Jun nd Jno Elzey the sum of one hundred & twenty pounds of tobacco Each being due unto them for their attendance four days Each as Evidences on Behalfe of the said Jno Bannister first above Mentioned agt Alex.d Carlyle they haveing made made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that James Nicholson pay unto Mathew Hopkins & Christopher Glass the Sum of One hundred & fifty pounds of tobacco Each being due unto them for their attendance five days Each for the Said James Nicholson as Evide agt Thomas Robinson they having made Oath to the same &c Whereas a Certain John Tunstall being sumoned to give Security for the Balln of a Certain Richard Crandwell's Estate the said John Tunstall appeared and forasmuch as their was noe Orphans the said Jn.o Tunstall was accordingly discharged &c Whereas a Certain Betty Gale being sumoned to give security for the Balln of a Certain Samuel Morris's Estate and for as much as it was made appear to this Court that their was Noe Orphans the said Betty Gale is discharged &c Whereas a Certain John White being sumoned to give security for the Ballance of Jno White decd Estate the said Jno White first mentioned made his appearance and produced Receipts of acco.ts paid ag.t ye Estate and is discharged &c Whereas Mary Hoops being sumoned to appear to give security for the Balln of Charles Wharton Estate the said Mary Hoops appears and produced the Will of the said Charles Wharton and by ye same Will it doth appear that the same Charles Wharton had given his Estate to the said Mary Hoops &c thereupon ye said Mary Hoops is discharged &c
to be Informed that a Certain Capell King Late of Somersett Parish in the County age Gentleman the sixteenth day of June One thousand seven hundred & twenty four at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain Alexander Hall in the peace of good & our Lord proprietary then and there being with force and armes an assault made and him the said Allexander then and there (beat) |
