1724 213 And wished him to take it up for himselfe which pine appears by the North Side of Little Ridge near to a beech tree marked on the North Side with two Letters IK furthermore this deponant declares that ^this^ Kircke sent for him as he Lay on his death bed near to his death and asked him if he Knew his Corner tree directed him where it stood Near to a Slash of water which he was well acquainted with and that it was a Stooping white oake as also Near to a Chesnutt there ^that was^ fell for Bowles for Kirke said it was the deviding tree of two tracts of Land and they would wrong Each Other of the timber which tree appears about one hundred yards from the slash of water and 30 yards from the Chesnut tree and declared that a Line was Broken as appears this far of the third Bounder and further saith not as wittness my hand this 14.th day of aprill in 1724 Anthony Bell By vertue of a Commission to us directed bearing date the 23d of November 1723 by the Justice of Somersett County Pursuant to the aforementioned act of assembly wee the subscribers being Sworn according to the directions of that act as appears by the Endorsmt on the Said Commission having given the due Notice as the Law directs in Such Cases ment on the spott mentioned in the above deposition and there did take the abovesaid John Kellam and Anthony Bells Solemn Oaths on the holy Evangelist of almighty God to the truth of what is therein Contained taken before us this 14th day of aprill 1724 W.m Planner, Isaac Horsey Jeffery Long, Tho.s Williams Somersett County
