of four pound and five hundred pounds of tob.o as also the Costs accrueing upon the writt of attachment afd
             therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the twentieth day of August ann Dom one thousand seven
hundred and twenty three afd that the said sume of three hundred and forty Eight pence to be paid in Corn afd part
of the sum so attached and Confessed be Condemned in the hands of the said John Elzey as of the rights and Creditts
of the said Thomas Maddocks towards satisfying unto the said Benjamin Cottman as well the sume of four pounds
and five hundred pounds of tobo as also the Costs accrueing upon the writt of attachment af and that the said Benjamin
Cottman have thereof his Execution against the said John Elzey according to act of assembly &.c

This being an action of trespass upon the Case &.c Wherein the Sherr of Somersett County to whom
the writt in the same action was directed Comes and makes return thereof Endorst vizt
                                                                                                Cepi Corpus P me Jos: MccClester
                            Whereupon the said Edmond Hough at the prayer of the plfts attorney is adjudged to give
               Speciall Bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain Edward Round of Somersett County Gent Present here in Court
               undertakes for the said Edmond Hough that in Case the said Arnold Elzey shall recover Judgm.t in the plea afd
       against the said Edmond Hough or that the said Edmond Hough shall be therein COnvict that then he the said Edmond
       Hough shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his Body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett
       County in satisfaction thereof or that he the said Edward Round will do it for him thereupon the said Edmond Hough
    ^by Francis allen^ his attorney appears and Imparles till next Court &.c

      Solomon Yearly Turpin
Command was given to the sherr of Somersett County that he should take Solomon Yearly ^alias^ Turpin
of Stepney Parish in the County of Somersett Shoemaker if he should be found in his Bailiwick
and him should Safe Keep so that he might have his Body Before ^the Justices of^ his Lordships County
         Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing the third tuesday of June then next to answer unto John Scott of a plea of
trespass upon the Case &.c and that thereof he should not fail &.c
                   Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Eighteenth day of the same month ann Dom One thousand
seven hundred and twenty three Being the day of the return of the said Writt Cometh the said John Scott by Francis allen his
attorney and the Sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing Writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return
thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following viz.t      Cepi so answers Jos MccClester Sherr
             whereupon the said sherr altho' solemnly Called Brings not in the Body of the Said Solomon Yearly al.s Turpin
according to the return of his writt in the plea afd   But prays further day untill next Court to Bring in the
Body of the said Solomon Yearly al.s Turpin to answer unto the said John Scott in the plea afd and he hath & the same
day is given to the plft also               Att which Said Next Court to witt the twentieth day of august ann Dom one thousand
seven hundred and twenty three Comes as well the said John Scott by his attorney afd as the said Solomon Yearly al.s
Turpin in his Own proper person and thereupon the Said John Scott by his attorney afd declared against the
said Solomon yearly al.s Turpin in the plea afd as followeth vizt   Maryland fs.t Solomon Yearly alias Turpin of
Stepney parish in the County of Somersett shoemaker was attached to answer unto John Scott of a plea of trespass upon the
Case &.c and whereupon the same John by Francis Allen his attorney Complaines that whereas the afd Solomon the
