[548] August Court 1720 [Or]dered That Phillip Holeadger Enter into Recognizance for his appearance [at next] Court as an Evidence on his Lordships behalf against the said George [Macay] [P]hillip Holeadger of Kent County Planter present here in Court acknowledges [himself] Indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietary of this province [hihs heires] [and Succ]essors in the Sum of Five pounds Sterlg. money to be leveyed on his Goods [Chatles] Lands Tenements Conditionally that if he does nto appear at next Court to be [held] [for said] County as an Evidence on behalfe of his said Lordship against the afd [George] Macay wherewith he acknowledes himself Content Ordered that William Goodson Enter into Recognizance for his [appear=] [ance] at next Court as an Evidence on his Lordships behalf against the same George [Macay] William Goodson of Kent County Planter present here in Court Ack[nowledges him] [self] indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietary of this province his [heirs and Su=] [cc]essors in the summ of five pounds Sterlg money to be Leveyed on his [Goods] Chatles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if he does not appear at next [Court] to be held for Said County as an Evidence on behalf of his Said Lordship against [the] afd. George Macay wherewith he acknowledges himself Content
especially to John Beach, and Now at this Court the said Josiah appearing to the said Recogce: and no person Shewing Cause why the Same Should not be discharged the Court discharges the Same Recognizance John Beck Junior and Joseph Everett at the same time afd. [entered] into recognizance for the appearance and Good behaviour of the afd [Josiah Crouch in the] Summ of five pounds Sterlg each to be Leveyed Conditionally for [his Lordship] [on] their Goods and Chatles Lands and Tenements and now at this [Court the said] [Josiah] haveing made his appearance and no Cause Shewn to the Con[tinue?] The Court [dis]charges the same Recognizances and each of them.
