TB. William Boyers	\|	unto William Edwards of a plea of Trespass on
		the Case. And whereupon the af^d. plt^f by David

   Macbride his Attorney Complaines that whereas the af^d. Def^t. the first day of A[ugust]
   in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Nineteen at Sh[rews=]
   berry parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court was ind[ebted]
   to the said plt^f the sum of Six hundred pounds of Merchantable Tobacco for
   diverse medicines att the special Instance and Request of the said Def^t.
           by the afd plt^f before that time Sold and delivered and so thereof being [in=]
   debted the af^d. Def^t. In Consideration thereof afterwards viz^t: the first day o[f Au=]
   gust in the year af^d. at the parish County and Jurisdiction af^d. upon h[imself as=]
   =sumed and to the same plt^f then and their faithfully promised that [he the af^d]
   Def^t. the af^d. Sum of six hundred pounds of Merchantable Tobacco to the sa[id plt^f]
   when thereunto afterwards he Should be required would well and truely pa[y]
   and Content. And that whereas also the af^d Def^t. afterwards viz^t. the af^d first [day]
   of August in the year af^d. at the parish County and Jurisdiction af^d in Cons[ider=]
   ation that the af^d. plt^f. at the like Special Instance and Request of the af^d Def^t had
   Sold and Delivered to the said Def^t. and to the proper use and behoofe of the said
   Def^t. diverse medicines in an account hereunto annexed particularly Sett forth upon
   himself assumed and to the same plt^f then and there faithfully promised that he the same
   Def^t So much merchantable Tobacco as the af^d. medicines sold and Delivered as af^d.
   at the af^d time of the sale and Delivery of the same were reasonably worth to the said
   plt^f. when thereunto afterwards he Should be required would well and truely pay and
   Content and the af^d. plt^f indeed saith that the af^d. medicines sold and Delivered as af^d.
   at the af^d. time of the Sale and Delivery of the same were reasonably worth six hun[=]
   dred pounds of Merchantable Tobacco in manner and form as in [the said account]
   sett forth of which the said Def^t. then and there had notice. Nevertheless [the af^d] Def^t.
   his promises and assumptions af^d. in form af^d. made in no wise minding nor regard[=]
   :ing but ploting and fraudulently intending the said plt^f in this behalfe Craftily and
   Subtilly to defraude and deceive the af^d. severall summs of Tobacco in the whole
   amounting to twelve hundred pounds of Merchantable Tobacco or any part [thereof]
   to the s^d. plt^f he hath not paid nor in any wise made Content altho to do the same the
   af^d Def^t. afterwards viz^t. the tenth day of October in the Year af^d. at the parish
   County and Jurisdiction af^d and often afterwards by the same plt^f was thereunto
   [re]quired but that to him to pay or Content hitherto hath refused and still doth refused
   [to] the damage of him the said plt^f two thousand pounds of Merchantable Tobacco and
