   Laughlan Flinn of Said County present in Court takes his Corporal Oath on the
   holy Evangelist of Almighty God that he was Credibly informed by Severall persons
   and especially by one Mr. Foster a Merchant that Came into the Country in the Same
   Ship with a Certain Thomas Cowin, that the Said Thomas Cowin had a pass to travell
   from Ann Arundell County to Elk River and that the Said Thomas was Engag=
   ed to no person, as also that he is persuaded he lost his Said pass Comeing over the
   Bay in Company with him the Sd Laughlan Flinn

        Court adjourns till to morrow’s morning at Eight of the Clock
      August 17th} Again meets
