   that then the S^d. George Gleaves Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court there
   on or render his body Unto the Custody of the Sher^f of Kent County in
   Satisfaction thereof or that he the S^d John Johnson will do it for him
        And the af^d. Def^t. by John Johnson his Attorney Comes and defends
   the force and Injury when &c. and Saveing to himself all and all manner
   of Exceptions and advantages as well to the Writt af^d. as to the Declaration
   of the S^d. plt< f. prays leave to imparle thereto and to answere at next Court
   and he hath it and the Same day is given the plt^f also

   here on the third Teusday of June viz^t. the 21^st day of Said Month Anno
   Domⁱ 1720 the day of Return of the S^d Writt Endorst Cepi Corpus p^r
   Simon Wilmer Sheriff .
           And the af^d Def^t by David Macbride his Attorney Comes and
   defends the force and Injury when &c. and prays leave to Imparle untill
   next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given the plt^f also

   of Tobacco Commenced by the S^d plt^f against the S^d Def^t and wherein the Sher^f
   of S^d County to whome the writt in the S^d Action was directed makes Return to the
   Court here on the third Teusday in June viz^t. the 21^st day of the S^d month anno Domⁱ
   1720 the day of Return of S^d. Writt Endorst Cepi Corpus p^r Simon Wilmer Sher.
     The af^d. plt^f Adm^r: as af^d. not liveing in the County on which Thomas Boune Attry for the S^d plt^f. here
   p^rsent in Court Comes and Acknowledges himself Security for all Such Cost as the Law Shall Exact from
   the S^d plt^f. by the Consent of the Court) provided the S^d Def^t Shall appear and answer unto the S^d. plt^f in
   the action af^d. and the S^d plt^f Shall be Non Suit in the Same
   Whereupon at the prayer of the plt^f. by his attry af^d the Def^t. is adjudged to give Special Bail to the action
   af^d and that the Sher^f of S^d County keep the S^d Def^t. in Safe Custody untill the S^d Bail is Grantd.    Thereupon
   Peter Green of Kent County planter present here in Court Comes and undertakes for the S^d. George Gleaves
   that in Case the S^d Adam Brown Shall recover Judgm^t. ag^st: the S^d George Gleaves in the action af^d. or that he
   the S^d George Gleaves Shall be therein Convict, that then the S^d George Gleaves Shall pay the Condem:
   nation of the Court thereupon or Render his body into the Custody of the Sher^f of Kent County in Sa.
   tisfaction thereof or that he S^d Peter Green will do it for himm
        And the af^d. Def^t. by John Johnson his Attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c
   and prays Leave to imparle till next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given the plt^f also.
