    468                           June Court 1720
   David Macbride afd his Recognizce. taken before the afd
   Justice on the twenty first day of march last in the Summ
   of forty pounds Sterlg money to be Levyed on his Good &
   Chattles Lands and Tenemts. Conditionally that if he did not
   make his personal appearance at the then next County Court
   to be held for Said County to answer unto all Such things as
   Should be objected agst: him on behalfe of his LdShip &
   in the meantime he was to be of good Behaviour and es:
   pecialy to Thomas Bowne and now at this Court no person
   Shewing any cause to the Contrary why the Sd Recogce Should
   not be discharged this Court here discharges the Same
   Simon Wilmer and Samuel Wicks at the Same time afd.
   entered into Recognizance in the Sume of twenty pounds
   Sterlg each to be levyd on &ca. Conditionally that if the afd David
   Macbrid Should not appear and answer as afd. and that he the
   Said David Macbride be of good behaviour as afd. this Court
   here discharges the Same Recognizances each of them. ——
      The Grand Jury Returns and being called over appears and returns
   to the Court the following presentmts: vizt.
   Agst. Elizabeth Turner of Lower South Sassafrax hundred for
   haveing a base born Child their being not sufficient Evidences on
   which the Court Quashes the same
   Also agst. David Ford of upper South Sassafrax hundred for
   Stealing a Mare Colt Supposed to belong to a Mare of John Rogerss
   Also agst. Sarah Shellwood Servant of Thomas Ayres of Easter
   neck hundred for haveing a base born Child
      Also agst Benjamin Griffin and Martha Bryan of Worton
   hundred for Adultry
        Also agst Ann Sanders Servant of William Ringold of Lank:
   foords Bay lower hundred for haveing a base born Child
        Also agt John Bateman for an Assault and on Sarah Nicholson
   The Grand Jury Consents that form not touching Substance may be altered
