   the Said John Simkins or that he the Said John Simkins Shall be therein Convict
   that then he the Said John Simkins Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court
   thereupon or render his body to the Custody of the Sherf of Kent County in
   Satisfaciõn thereof or that they the Said James Tibbatt and Roger Murphey or
   one of them will do it for him
      And the afd Deft by Thomas Bowne his attry comes and defends the force
   and injury &ca. And Saving to himselfe all manner of Exceptions as well to the
   writ as to the Decln of the Said Plt prays liberty to imparle thereto and to
   answer at next Court which is granted the Same time is given ye. Plt also
   Richd Cole – | This being an Accõn of Debt Commenced by the Plt agst the
          at | Said Deft wherein there Issued a Copy of the Decln with
   George Gleaves | the writ in the Said Action   And wherein the Sherf of Said

County to whom the writ in the Same accõn was directed
   makes return thereof to the Court here on the third Tuesday in March to wit
   the fifteenth day of the Same month Anno Domi 1719 being the day of
   return of Said writ Endorst Cepi Corpus Copy of the Decln Served in time pr me
   Simon Wilmer Sherf
      Whereupon at the Prayer of the Plt by David Macbride his attr
   the Deft is adjudged to give Special baile to the Accõn afd and the Sherf of
   Kent County keep the Said George Gleaves in Safe Custody untill he Shall —
   give Special baile as afd Thereupon William Ellis of Kent County Planter
   present here in Court undertakes for the Said George Gleaves that in Case the
   Said Richard Cole Shall obtaine Judgment against the Said George Gleaves
   in the plea afd or that the Said George Gleaves Shall be therein Convict that
   then he the Said George Gleaves Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court
   thereupon or render his body to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County
   in Satisfaccõn thereof or that the Said William Ellis will do it for him
   Kent County | George Gleaves of Kent County Wheelwright als Dicts George Glaves
   in | Ss   of kint County whell wright was Summoned to answer unto Richard
      Maryland    | Cole of a plea that he render him the full and Just Some of three
   pound Corant Silver money of Maryland which to him he oweth and which from
   him he unjustly detains &ca. and Whereupon the afd Plt by David Macbride his
   Attry Saith that whereas the afd Deft the twelfth day of August in the Year of
   our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Nineteen at Shrewsberry Parish
   in Kent County within the Jurisdiccõn of this Court by his certain writing obligatory
   which he the Said Deft Sealed with his Seale and as his deed delivered hereinto
   Court brought the date whereof is the Same day and Year afd granted himselfe
   holden and firmly bound unto the afd Plt in the afd full and Just Sume of
   Three pounds Currant Silver money of Maryland to be paid unto the afd Plt
   at or upon the tenth day of November next Ensuing the date of the Said
   writing Obligatory Nevertheless the afd Deft altho’ often required viz the
   Eleventh day of November in the Year afd at the Parish County & Jurisdiccõn
