   Att A Court held for Kent County at the Court house on Chester River in
   the Town of Chester in Said County on the Seventeenth day of November &
   Continued the Eighteenth Nineteenth Twentieth and one and twentyeth
   days of the Same Month in the Fourth Year of the Dominion of Charles
   absolute Lord and Porprietarie of the Province of Maryland and Avalon
   Lord Baron of Baltemore &ca. Anno Dom 1719 Before

   Mr. Simon Wilmer Sherf of Said County being present makes
   return of the pannell of the grand Jury who being called Likewise
   came to wit

   Cole George Murphey Francis Reed Robert Hodges John Wilson John
   Smithers William Blackiston William Smithers Henry Davis Robert
   Mackey Joseph Reed William Reeding Roger Hailes John Blackiston
           The Court appoints Fryday for Laying the Levey ——
   Margret Toemy [?] to be allowd 140Tobo. in the Levey towards the pay:
   :ment of her husbands Levey
   James Faning Eliza. Aldrix John Wilson Mary Morgan and Dan[l]
   Roach Sworn as Evidences and Sent to the Grand Jury
      The acts of assembly made last Sessions Read by the Sherf of Said
   County
        Mrs Mary Smithers brings a Servt. woman of her’s named Eliza.
   Browne concerning Some time She absented from her Service without
   Leave The afd Eliza. Browne comes into Court and Saith that She Can’t
   gainsay but that She absented from her Service twenty days and also
   the Said Mary Smithers produces an Accot. of charges in takeing the
   Said Eliza. Browne up when runaway and Secureing her for which
   there was paid for the Same the Sume of Seven hundred and Sixty –
   pounds of Tobacco on which She prays an allowance for Same also :
   Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the
