   Att A Court held for Kent County at the Court house in the Town of Chester
   in Said County on Chester River on the Eighteenth and Nineteenth days of
   August in the fourth Year of the Dominion of Charles Absolute Lord and
   Proprietarie of the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Barron of Balte:

   Mr. Simon Wilmer Sherf of Sd County being prsent returns his writs &ca
     A Certain David Roach being taken up as a Servt. that had absented
   and being brought before Colo Edward Scott one of his LdSps Justices of ye peace
   for Said County was by him Committed to the Custody of the Sherf of Sd County and
   being brought to this Court The Same adjudges him no Servt. on which the Court
   orders that he be kept no longer in Custody as a Servt. but that he pay the Sherf
   his fees and charge in taking up
      Thomas Ambrose a person^Lame &not being capable of getting his
   living is adjudged not to pay any levey ——
        Colo Nathl Hynson having a Negro woman called Dina alledges
   that She is lame and troubled with fitts that She can never Labour to answer
   the Charge in maintaining her and Severall of the Justices being Sensable of
   the Same and Thereupon is adjudged not to pay any levey for her
        Daniel Ferrill of Said County having a Negro man called Sambo
   alledges that he is So lame that he can never Labour to answer the Charge
   in maintaining him and Severall of the Justices being Sensable of the Same
   and Thereupon is adjudged not to pay any levey for him
   Mr. Marmaduke Tilden desires that he may have liberty to Clear a
   Road from his house to the main Road which is granted as prayd
        Pannel pettit Jury returnd
                     Court adjourns till tomorrow morning Eight Clock
