June Court 1719 269 entered with the Judgment in the Records of the Said Court and this Shall [be] your warrant witness my hand this Eighteenth day of June Anno Domini 1719 his Xtopher B Bateman To M.r Michael Howard To M.r James Earle marke M.r David Macbride Attorneys at Law in Kent County Court or any of them on the back of the preceeding power of Attry was Endorsed as folls - June Court 1719 John Astle comes into Court and being Sworn on the holy Evangilists of Almighty God Saith that he did See the within Christopher Bateman Signe and deliver the within Power of Attorney to and for the use therein Contained proved in open Court Jams Smith Clk
made return thereof Endorsed [illegible] pr me Simon Wilmer Sherf on which a nother writ Issued in time of the Court Sitting viz this 18 day of June Anno Domi 1719 And the Sherf of Said County to whom ye foregoing writ was directed and the Same day last mentioned comes and makes return thereof Endorst in these words folls viz N:E:J Short note left Simon Wilmer Sherf . There being a Copy of a Short note made Sent with the writ Issued in the Said Accõn Expressing the Plts cause of Accõn in the plea afd where: :upon the Said William Savory by Thomas Bowne his attorney prays that for as much as he hath compyed with the Law in order to an Attachment he may have Judgment against the Said Edward Warner for his damages by Occation of the premises afd by way of Attachmt. According to Act of Assembly &ca Kent County Ss William Savory agst. Edward Warner in Case The true Cause of Accõn is that the afd Edward Stands indebted unto the afd William in the Sume of two pounds Eight Shillings and Six pence Sterling money and five hundred pounds of Tobacco for So - much Received to the use of the Said William as by an Accot Ready to be produced in Court will appear &ca TBowne pr Querr &ca Whereupon for that it Seems to the Court here the day and year last mentioned that the Said William Savory hath Complyed with the Law as alledged And the Said Plt having proof of his Damages to the Court here Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the 18th. day of June Anno Domi 1719 afd That the Said William Savory Recover against the Said Edward Warner as well the Sume of two pounds |
