And the afd Dominick by David Macbride his attry comes and Defends the force and Injury when &ca And Saith Indeed that he Cannot gainsay the Account of the afd William But the Said Dominick further Saith that the afd William Execution against him the Said Dominick ought not to have because he Saith that whereas Severall Petitions were prefered by Severall prisoners In Severall prisons of this Province to the Hon.ble the Members of Assembly of this Province of Maryland at a Session of Assembly begunn & held at the Town and Port of Annapolis in the Province afd on the twenty third day of Aprill In the year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and eighteen Out of the tender regard the Hon.ble Assembly then and there mett had to the Deplorable Conditions and Circumstances that the poor Petitioners afd were (among the Number of which Petitioners the afd Dominick was one and was then and there last Said a Prisoner of the Lord prop.r that now is under the Custody of George Valentine keeper of the Prison of Annapolis afd) and for divers causes then thereunto moving Among other Laws then and there made and Eneacted A Law was made and Enacted by the Right Honble. the Lord propry by and with the advice and Consent of his Lord Ships Governt. and the upper and Lower houses of Assembly and the authority of the Same whereby the afd Dominick and the other Petitioners as afd were released and discharged from their then Imprisonments and not only from their Imprisonm.ts and debts for which they were under Imprisonment but also from all manner whatsoever Contracted before the time of Commencement and Execution of the Law afd and the Said Dominick further Saith that he was discharged - from his Imprisonment then and there last Said by vertue of the Same Act of Assembly referance being thereunto had may more at large appear And the Said Dominick further Saith that the Actions of Trespass on the Case brought by the Same William beareth date the fourth day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and fourteen And the Act afd was made the day Year afd by vertue of which Act as afd the afd William Judgment against him the Said Dominick ought not to have And this he is ready to verifie wherefore he prays the benefitt of the Same Act of Assembly to him may be allowed And the Said Dominick Saith that he is one and the Same person and |
