   Twentieth day of March Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Eight
  :teen That the afd Plt William Comegys have an Attachment against the —
   goods and Chattells Rights and Credits of the afd Richard Lee for the afd Sume
   of two pounds Eight Shills and three pence Sterlg money Damages and also the
   Sume of two hundred Seventy Eight pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt abt
   his Sute in this behalfe expended &ca

   John Falconar | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
             at | twenty Second day of November in the fourth Year
   John Lovegrove | of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca That he take John
   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lovegrove of Kent County Cordwainer if he Shall be —
   found inhis Bailywick and him Safe keep So that he have his body before
   his Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the
   Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto John Falconar and Company
   Merchts. of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and that he have then and –
   there the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. the Seventeenth day
   of March the Same year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ
   came Simon Wilmer Gent. high Sherf of Said County and made return—
   thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr S Wilmer Sherf
   and a Declaration being fild when Said writ Issued forth and a Copy —
   thereof Served therewith according to Act of Assembly in Such Cases made–
   was as folls vizt. Kent County Ss John Lovegrove of Kent County Cordwainer
   Stands attaiched to Answer unto John Falconar and Company Merchts.
   of a plea of Trespass upon ye Case And Whereupon the afd Plts by Thomas
   Bowne their attorney Complain that whereas the afd Deft the fourth
   day of June in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and
   Seventeen at S.t Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this
   Court in Consideration that the afd Plts. at the Special Instance and Request
   of the afd Deft had then and there by Samuel Vaus there agent & Factor
   Sold and delivered to the Said Deft to the proper use and behoofe of the afd
   Deft the divers Goods and Merchandizes as an Accot. hereunto Annexed
   Sett forth at the rates and prices in the Said Accot. Shewn amounting to
   five hundred and forty and two pounds and a half pound of Merchantable
   Tobacco upon himself assumed and to the Said Plts then and there faithfully
   promised that he the Said Deft the afd five hundred and forty and two pounds
   and a half pound of Merchantable Tobacco to the Said Plts when thereunto –
   required would well and truly pay and Content and that whereas also the
   afd Deft afterwards vizt. the fourth day of June in the Year of our Lord Christ one
   Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at the Parish County and Jurisdiciõn
   afd in Consideration that the afd Plts at the like Special Instance and request
   of the afd Deft had by the hands of Samuel Vaus their agent and factor -
   then and there last mentioned Sold and Delivered to the Said Deft to the
   proper use of the Said Deft the divers Goods and Merchandizes in an Acco.t
   hereunto Annexed Specifically Set forth upon himselfe assumed and to the
