   Mathw. Howard apptd Cunstable of Lower South Sassafras hundred in the
   Room of Abra Redgrave junr. The afd Mathw. comes into Court takes the
   oath of allegiance and Supremacy The Oath of abjuration and the oath of
   a Cunstable and the Same Subscribes the Test
      Edward Beck junr as an Evid.e Sworn on his Ld Ships behalf to the Grand Jury
        Lewis Baker and John Huff as afd Sworn & Sent to the Grand Jury ——
   William Burros appointed oversear Road from Tiprus branch to John
   Ellis’s
   John Clarke as an Evide Sworn to the Grand Jury
    Joan Hill wife of George Hill who absented himselfe and Leaving Children—
   with his Said wife So that She not being capable of maintaineing herselfe
   and Children bind her Son William Hill to Vincent Hatchenson of this —
   County untill he is of ye age twenty one Years he being Seven Years old ye
   Seventh of Augst next to learn him read write & Cypher as far as Rule of
   three ye Same Incluse   At the Expiration to give Sute Cloaths &ca. According
   to Indenture the Same acknowledged in open Court
   Mr. David Macbride one of the attrys of this Court appointed
   as Clarke of the Indictmts during this Courts Sitting no person having any
   Commission from the attry Genrall for the Same
     Mr Evan Jones having Sent a printed body of the Acts of Assembly
   of this Province to this Court ordered that he be allowed according
   to Act of Assembly in the next Levey for the Same—
        Court adjourns till tomorrow morning Eight Clock

   Josiah Lanham brings a Servant to have his age adjudged to know —
   when a taxable vizt. Joseph Seward on view of Same adjudges him to
   be fourteen years old ——
     Grand Jury returns and delivers the following presentments vizt.
   one against Mary Jackson for having a base born Child one against
   Ann Kinnard for having a base born Child one against Mary Holeager
   for having a base born Child — one against Richard Gail for felonious:
  :ly Stealing the Goods of a Certain person unknown and Consents that form not
   touching Substance may be altered—
   Grand Jury discharged & to be allowed at Wm Glanvills 500lToboye Same to be —
   allowed him in the next Levey.
