   Ward do recover against the Said Deft Nathaniel Pearce as well
   the afd Sume of Nine Thousand pounds of Tobacco the Debt afd as
   also the Sume of Three hundred Sixty Eight pounds of Tobacco Cost by
   the afd Plt about his Sute in this behalf expended and by the Court here
   of his assent adjudged and the Said Deft in mercy &ca.
   and The afd Plt. by his afd attry comes into Court and Engaged that the
   Said Plt. Shall allow to the afd Deft what he hath paid in part of—
   the afd Debt out of the afd Judgment

   John Gilbert | take John Gilbert of Kent County Planter alis Dics


John Gilbert if he Should be found in his Baily:
   wick and him Safe keep So that he have his body before his Said
   Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the
   Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto John March of a—
   plea that he render to him the full Sume of four hundred Ninety four
   pounds of good Sound Tobacco Clear of ground Leaves and trash and .
   Casque to Containe the Same of the value of five pounds Sterling money
   which he unjustly detains &ca And that he have then and there
   the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth day of
   November the Same year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ
   came Simon Wilmer Gent high Sherf of Said County and made return
   thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr
