So that he have his body before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to answer unto John Wooddall administrator of all and Singular the Goods & . Chattells Rights & Creditts which were of Edward Plaister late of Kent County in Mareyland deceased of a plea that he render unto him the Just & full Sum of thirty pounds Currant money of ye province aforesd which to him he oweth and from him he unjustly detains &ca. And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca Att which Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth day of November the Same Year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ came Simon Wilmer Gent. high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf and a Declaration being filed when Said writ Issued forth (and a copy thereof Served therewith according to an Act of Assembly in Such Cases made) which is as folls vizt Kent County Ss Thomas Garnett of Kent County Tanner otherwise called Thos. Garnett of newgarden in Pencilvaney was Summoned to Answer unto John Woodall Administrator of all and Singular the Goods & Chattells Rights & Creditts which were of Edward Plaister late of Kent County in Mareyland deceased of a plea that he render unto him the Just And full Sum of thirty pounds Currant money of ye province aforesd which to him he oweth and from him he unjustly detains &ca. and whereupon the afd John by David Macbride his attry Saith that whereas the afd Thomas on the fourteenth day of February in ye Year of our Lord God one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen at S.t Pauls Parish in Kent County afd within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his certain bill obligatory which he the Said Thomas Sealed with his Seal and as his deed delivered hereinto Court brought whose date is the Same day and Year afd Granted himselfe to be owing and Justly indebted unto Edward Plaister afd in ye Just & full Sum of fiveteen pounds Currant money of ye province afd to be paid to the Said Edward Plaistor or his heires or assignes or Lawfull attorney at or before the tenth day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen and Yet the afd Thomas altho? often demanded the afd Sum of fiveteen pounds Currant money of ye province afd to the afd Edward in his lifetime or to the afd.
