   Eighty pounds of Tobacco for divers Services by the afd Plt for the Said Deft and to the Proper use and behoofe
   of the Said Deft before that time at the parish County and Jurisdiciõn afd done and performed
   and the Sume of one hundred and Seventy pounds of Tobacco the Cost of a Certain Sute and So
   thereof being Indebted the afd Deft In Consideration thereof afterwards vizt. the afd last
   mentioned Twenty Second day of March in the Year afd at the Parish County and —
   Jurisdiciõn afd upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt. then and there last
   mentioned faithfully promised that he the Said Deft the afd Sume of Two Thousand
   five hundred and Eighty pounds of Tobacco and One hundred and Seventy pounds
   of Tobacco unto the Said Plt. when thereunto required would well and truly pay -
   and Content Nevertheless the afd Deft his Severall promises and assumptions afd
   in forme afd made little minding but plotting and fraudulently Intending him
   the Said Plt. in that behalfe Craftily and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the afd
   Severall Sumes of Tobacco which in the whole amounts unto the Sume of Eight
   Thousand one hundred and Seventy Eight pounds of Tobacco to the Said plt althõ
   afterwards vizt. the Twenty third day of March in the Year afd and often after at
   the Parish County and Jurisdiciõn afd he the Said Deft by the afd Plt was thereunto
   required hath not paid nor made Content for the Same but that to pay or make
   Content hitherto hath denied and Still doth deny to the damage of him the Said -
   Plt. Sixteen Thousand pounds of Tobacco & thereupon he brings Sute &ca.

   and the afd Plt by his attry afd prays that the Sd Deft to his Declaration
   afd may answer   but the Same Cause was Continued untill the then next
   Court in Course
        Att which Said next Court viz the Nineteenth day of August Anno Domi
   one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen The Same Cause Standing for
   Tryall Came the afd Deft and delivered a Habeas Corpus from the provinciall
   Court for ye moveing of the afd Cause to ye Justices of our provintiall Court the third
   tuesday in September next the Same being read in Court This Court allows of
   the Same & ordered by the Court that the proceedings be made out accordingly
   which was done
