116 August Court 1718 : pears upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt. then and there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the Said Testator So much Merchantable Tobacco as he the afd Plt. for the afd Services done and performed as afd Should reasonably deserve unto the Said Plt when thereunto required would well and truly pay and Content and the afd Plt. Indeed Saith that he the afd Plt. for the afd Services done and performed as afd reasonably deserved the Sume of five hundred and Seventy pounds of Merchantable Tobacco in manner as in the Said Accot. Sett forth of which the afd Testator in his life time then and there last mentioned had - Notice . . . And that Whereas Also the afd Testator in his life time afterwards vizt. the afd Twenty fifth day of January in the Year afd at the Parish County and Jurisdiciõn afd In Consideration that the afd Plt. at the like Speciall Instance and request of the afd Testator had then and there last mentioned in the life time of the Said Testator lent unto the afd Testator the Sume of four Shillings Currant money of America upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt then and there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the Said Testator the afd Sume of four Shillings Currant money of America unto the Said Plt when thereunto required would well and truly pay and Content Nevertheless the afd Testator in his life time and the afd Elizabeth after the death of the Said Testator while She was Sole nor the afd Nathaniell and Elizabeth after Espousalls betwixt them Celebrated the promises and assumptions of afd Testator little minding but plotting and fraudulently Intending him the Said Plt of the afd Severall Sumes of Tobacco and money which in the whole amounts unto the Summe of Six hundred and Two pounds of Merchantable Tobacco and four Shillings Currant money of America craftily and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the afd Sumes of Six hundred and two pounds of Merchantable Tobacco and four Shillings Currant money of America to the Said Plt. they nor any of them hath not paid nor made Content for the Same altho that to do he the Said Testator in his life time afterwards vizt. the Towenty [sic] Sixth day of January in the Year afd at the Parish County and Jurisdicion afd and the afd Elizabeth after the death of the afd Testator while She was Sole vizt. the third day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen at the Parish County and Jurisdiciõn and the afd Nathaniel and Elizabeth after Espousalls between them Celebrated afterwards vizt. the Sixth day of Mary in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen and often after at the Parish County and Jurisdiciõn afd were thereunto required but that to him to . pay or make Content for the Same they and every of them have altogether denied and the afd Nathaniell and Elizabeth Still doth deny to the damage of him the Said Plt.
