69 from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negroe woman named Priscilla General or Sylla aged forty one years one negro boy named Henry one negro boy named Daniel and one negro boy by the name of Emory General the above property being left to me by the last will and testament of Joseph Evans Esq late of Anne Arundel County aforesaid decd as reference to the records of the Orphans Court will more fully appear they the above described negroes being able to gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and them the said negroes Priscilla or Sylla General Henry General Daniel General and Emory General I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude to me my executors or administrators forever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty Signed sealed and his delivered in presence of Henry x Generals (seal) Jos Nicholson mark James E.
