30. Tydings aged about Eighteen years of good health and constitution and able and capable to earn a good and sufficient livelihood for herself do hereby manumit and set free her the said Cornelia Tydings and declare her to be free and clear of all obligation to serve me or any other person and that she shall forever hereafter be entitled to have receive and take the rents and profits of her own labor and I do hereby give and grant freedom to her the said Cornelia she being of sound mind and body and capable by labour to earn sufficient food and raiment for herself with other request necessaries of life In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty third day of February Eighteen hundred and forty Eight Signed sealed and delivered his in the presence of us Henry x Tydings (seal) J. W Hunter mark Geo Johnson Anne Arundel County Sc.t Be it Know that on this Twenty third day of February in the year Eighteen hundred and forty Eight Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of said County personally appeared Henry Tydings grantor of the within deed of manumission and a resident of said County to me Known as such and Cost acknowledged the same to be his act and 62½ deed for the purposes therein mentioned Paid J.
