State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.t On this 23.d day of February 1847 before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid personally appears William Brewer he being Known to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the aforegoing deed or indenture and doth acknowledge the said indenture or instrument of writing to be his act and deed Cost In Testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name Paid On the day and year aforesaid $0.62 Wm Glover 5 sides Recorded the 23.d day of February 1847
have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free the following negroes to witt Eliza aged forty one years Sook aged thirty seven years Margaret aged thirtee years and Martha aged nine years each to serve their mother the above named Sook until they arrive at the age of sixteen years Matilda aged seventeen years Milly aged twenty two yeas Eliza Jane aged seven years to serve her mother the above mentioned Mill until she arrives at the age of sixteen years Delia aged Twenty years and her daughter Susan aged three years to serve her mother the above mentioned Delia until she arrives at the age of sixteen years being able to work and gain |
