In testimony whereof we have hereunto set
our hands and affixed our seals this twelfth
day of October in the year of Our Lord One thousand
Eight hundred and forty six
Signed Sealed and
delivered in presence of      Rich.d F W Templeman
Gassaway Winterson          Ann C Templeman

Received On the day of the date within mentioned
the sum of Five dollars current money it being
the full consideration money within mentioned

State of Maryland      to wit
                                           On this twelfth
day of October personally appears Rich.d W. Templeman
and Ann Caroline Templeman parties
to the within instrument of writing before me
the subscriber a justice of the peace of the state
of maryland for the said County and acknowledges
the same to be their act and deed
for the purposes within mentioned and the
negro woman within named to be henceforth
manumitted and discharged from
all services to them or to any person or persons
claiming under them and to be free and
manumitted according to the act of assembly
in such cases made and provided
