I Harwood Iglehart of anne arundel County and State
of Maryland do hereby Manumit and set free My Negro slave
woman named Rosetta Johnson aged about forty years her
freedom to Commence from the date of these presents
                   Witness My hand and seal this twenty seventh
day of October Eighteen hundred and Sixty four

    State of Maryland anne arundel County to wit
                   I hereby Certify that on this twenty Seventh
day of October in the year Eighteen hundred and Sixty four
before the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of
Maryland in and for anne arundel County personally appeared
Harwood Iglehart and acknowledged the aforegoing deed to
be his act                           Owen M Taylor  J P
Recorded the 29 day of October 1864


I Ann Sellman Waddell of Anne arundel County and State
of Maryland do hereby Manumit and set free my negro
slave woman named Violetta Jacob usually called Lethe
aged about fifty years her freedom to Commence from the
date of these presents  Witness My hand and seal this
twenty seventh day of october Eighteen hundred and
sixty four
