in the service of the United States  now in Consideration thereof
I Washington G Tuck of anne arundel County State of
Maryland do hereby in Consideration of said enlistment
Manumit set free and release the above named George H Miller
from all service due me his freedom to commence from the 23 Feby
1864 the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the 30th Regiment
of Colored Troops in the service of the united states Witness
my hand and seal this 28.th day of May 1864

Deed of Manumission and Release of Service
          Whereas My slave Thomas H Bryan has enlisted
in the service of the united states  Now in Consideration
thereof I Rachel S Tuck of anne arundel County State
of Maryland do hereby in Consideration of said enlistment
Manumit set free and release the above named Thomas
H Bryan from all service due me his freedom to Commence
from the 24 February 1864 the date of his enlistment as
aforesaid in the 30 Regiment of Colored Troops in the service
of the united states   Witness My hand & seal this 28 day
