178 consideration thereof I Ellen S Aisquith of Anne arundel County State of Maryland do hereby in Consideration of said enlistment Manumit Set free and release the above named Charles H Morse from all service due me his freedom to Commence from the twenty seventh of Septr 1863 the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the Seventh Regiment of Colored Troops in the service of the united states Witness My hand and Seal this Twentieth day of May 1864 Ellen S Aisquith (Seal) Witness Henry Aisquith J H Brown Richard O Prather Anne arundel County State of Maryland May 20 1864 U States Internal Before me appeared this day Ellen S Aisquith Revenue stamp and acknowledged the above Deed of 5 Cents J H B Manumission and Release of Service to be her 20 May 1864 free act and deed John H Brown J P Recorded the 23 May 1864 E Deed of Manumission and Release of Service Whereas my slave Thaddeus Hill has enlisted in the service of the united states Now in Consideration thereof I Charles B Robinson of Anne arundel County State of Maryland do hereby in Consideration of said enlistment Manumit set free and release the above named Thaddeus Hill from all service due me his freedom to Commence from the 31 of March the date of his enlistment as aforesaid in the 39 Regiment of Colored Troops in the service of the united states Witness My hand and Seal this 23 day of May 1864 Witness I Lee Webster E T Robinson Seal Dorsey Jacob Thomas S Jacob |
