64 peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned and the negroe boy within named to be manumitted according to the time therein mentioned and to be free and manumitted from him or any claiming under him at the period therein mentioned and the act of assembly in such case made and provided. Acknowledged before Ch.d Jos: G Harrison 3 Recorded the 10th day of march 1818 Know all persons by these presents that I George Stinchcomb of anne arundel County & State of maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have and by these presents do manumit liberate and discharge from bondage and slavery a certain mulatto woman named Hager Cook aged about forty two years hereby declaring her from henceforward to be absolutely free and discharged from all manner of servitude ^or service^ to me or any other person or persons whatsoever.
