612 of maryland divers good causes and Considerations me thereunto moving as also in the further Consideration of five dollars to me in hand paid have released from slavery manumitted and set free and by these presents do release from slavery manumit and set free at the periods hereinafter respectively mentioned my Negro slaves following viz my negro man Bealle Green Zadock Green Sampson Gibson moses Green and Archibald Matthews and my negro woman Yellow Polly Artridge yellow maria Nancy Brown Nancy Gibson Betzy Hepburn and Priscilla Pull all of lawful age and all and each of them to be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and forty one. The following children of Sam Bell and Priscilla Bell viz sam aged Eighteen George aged sixteen Richard aged fourteen John aged twelve Bryan aged ten years mary ann aged nine years James aged five and Bunbaree aged three years I manumit and set free the males when they shall have arrived at the age of twenty five years and the females when they shall have respectively attained the age of twenty years. The Children of Sophia Taylor viz Henny or Henrietta aged sixteen Samuel aged seven Grafton aged five Sophia ten years Eliza aged three years and Kitty aged one year together with Sarah Grand Child of the said Sophia aged two years I manumit and set free the males when they shall attain the age of twenty five years respectively and the females when they shall arrive at the age of twenty years respectively The |
