555 negro man William alias William Williams aged about twenty one years my negro girl Eliza alias Eliza Williams aged about fifteen years my negro girl Harriott alias Harriott Williams aged about fourteen years my negro boy Richard alias Richard Williams aged about ten years my negro girl Ariana alias Ariana Williams aged about nine years my negro boy John alias John Williams aged about eight years my negro boy Joseph alias Joseph Williams aged about six years and my negro boy Elias alias Elias Williams aged about two years all of which said negroes are of healthy constitutions sound in mind and body and capable ^by labour^ to procure to them sufficient food and raiment with other requisite necessaries of life except the two boys Joseph and Elias and their father and mother the aforesaid Jacob Williams and Linny Williams have agreed to keep and maintain them until they shall be able to provide for themselves In testimony whereof I the said Thomas Cross have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three Witness McLane Brown Anne Watkins Thomas Cross (seal) On the back of the aforegoing was thus written to wit: Anne Arundel County to wit: Acknowledged before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for the County aforesaid by the within named Thomas Cross as his act and deed this first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ^thirty^ three Paid M.cLane Brown 3½ Recorded the 4.th day of November 1833 |
