said Henny Jackson I do declare to be henceforth free
liberated manumitted and discharged from all
manner of servitude or service to me my heirs my
Executors and administrators and all or any other
person or persons for Ever.   In witness whereof I have
set my hand affixed my seal this nineteenth day
of may Eighteen hundred and thirty two
Signed sealed and delivered                her
    In presence of                      Sophia + Stephens  (seal)
       All interlineations before signing   mark
    Gideon White   Thomas Robinson

At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit:
       Received on the day and date above mentioned the
sum of five dollars it being the full consideration
of the above mentioned                     her
Test                                       Sophia + Stephens
       Gideon White                           mark

    Anne Arundel County Sst.  On this 19 day of
May 1832 appear'd the above mentioned Sophia
Stephens before the subscriber a justice of the peace
for the County aforesaid and acknowledged
the above instrument of writing to be her act and
deed and the negro woman Henny Jackson
therein named to be henceforth discharged from
her services to her or any claiming under her or all
other person or persons whomsoever according to
the true intent and meaning thereof and the act
of assembly in such case made and provided
